Quality Childcare

Providing a safe, clean, fun, nurturing home away from home for infants and children while parents work.

Welcome to my website!

I am so glad you have stopped by and hope to meet you and your family soon! I offer a range of services to meet the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs of children. From engaging indoor activities to fun outdoor play, I strive to create a positive and enriching experience for every child in my care.

Busy Bees was founded in February of 1991 and is a Christian daycare located in Roswell, Georgia. Children will learn about Jesus, our Lord and Savior, enjoy Bible stories, learn concepts of sharing, caring for others, and forgiveness. Daily opportunities to practice familiar concepts while learning new ones keeps your child learning, growing, and enjoying the daycare environment. Memorizing scripture is a fun way for children to grow in the Word of God. A loving and very safe environment is provided for babies to grow and develop. Infants delight in their playtime, in being held and cuddled, in enjoying picture books, and meeting milestones such as learning to sit up, cruising, and walking unassisted. Toddlers and preschoolers practice following directions, their ABCs, colors, opposites, shapes, and numbers. Training in manners and how to use the potty is discovered and achieved. I work toward the goal of each individual child being prepared for kindergarten.

”Every day I dropped off our daughter, she was eager to attend daycare. When I returned for pick-up, the kids had smiles on their faces. Our daughter flourished at Busy Bees and made many friends. Our family will always be quite grateful to Sheryl for all of her loving care and concern, not only for our baby, but for our family, as well. Her learning environment has been fun and we are so happy to have found Busy Bees Daycare".

"My mother, who had previously cared for our two children, had to have surgery for cancer she had developed. We did not know anyone we could trust to step in for at least a six-month period to care for our two kids. My sister knew of a friend who had used Busy Bees years before. She highly recommended Sheryl. We liked her from the first time we talked with her over the phone. Sheryl was truly a Godsend. She worked with both our youngsters and both our children had fun and learned a lot while in her care. We were so fortunate to have Sheryl step in for a short period of time until my mother was well enough to again care for our two children".

"In 3.5 years of childcare, I only had to be out once with our son due to illness. This speaks volumes as to what a clean environment Sheryl maintains. Our son had his own pack n' play in which to sleep daily, then when he turned two, he began sleeping on a cot with a pillow, blanket, and lovey. Busy Bees is truly home away from home. When it was time for potty training, Sheryl was knowledgeable and extremely helpful to this first-time mom. We could not have asked for a better environment for our young son".

- Victory Ashmore

"Sheryl is very organized and has many activities for children of various ages. She even takes the time to fill out a daily sheet detailing meals, diapers, naps, our child's disposition, and any supply needs. This is so priceless to working parents. We love the daily feedback and the fun atmosphere. If you are looking for excellence, choose Bees"!

TESTIMONIALS......

In the State of Georgia, Busy Bees Daycare is governed by the Department of Early Care and Learning and offers a very nurturing environment for both infants and children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. With 30+ years of experience, I continually better myself by selecting yearly continuing education units (CEUs) to add to my knowledge base and stay engaged and up-to-date in various topics regarding childcare. Each day, I strive to provide quality care and education to ensure your child's needs are met while you are away from your children.
